EMPOWER YOUR COMMUNITY WITH SUPERIOR PROPANE’S INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY FUND PROGRAM
At Superior Propane, we are dedicated to supporting Indigenous communities by providing reliable heat and power solutions. Our Indigenous Community Fund Program (the “Program”) is designed to give back to the Indigenous communities that we serve.
How the Program Works:
- Support Your Community: For every litre of propane delivered to customers1 located within eligible communities2, Superior Propane will donate a portion back to such community.
- Annual Donation: This donation accumulates throughout the year and is presented annually3 to a selected community-based organization, group, project or other cause4.
Join us in empowering Indigenous communities. Fill out the form to learn about the Program and the benefits of partnering with or becoming a customer of Superior Propane. Let’s build a brighter future together.
OUR COMMITMENT TO RECONCILIATION
As part of our journey to reconciliation, we are committed to:
Building Relationships : Encouraging our staff to get to know and support the Indigenous communities and businesses in the regions where we operate.
Education and Career Preparedness : Supporting education initiatives for Indigenous youth through our national sponsorship of the Outland Youth Employment Program and partnering with Indspire, where we award 14 bursaries to Indigenous post-secondary students each year.
WHY PARTNER WITH SUPERIOR PROPANE?
Trusted Experience : With over 70 years of service, we have established strong relationships with First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities.
Reliable Service : We ensure a consistent supply of propane to meet your needs.
Giving Back : Under the Program, your propane usage directly contributes to a donation that supports your local community.
1 Annual donations under the Program are calculated based on litres of propane delivered by Superior Propane to: (i) residential customer accounts; and (ii) community-owned or affiliated commercial customer accounts, all within defined community boundaries (“Measured Volumes”).
2 Indigenous communities or economic development corporations with existing partnerships or revenue sharing arrangements with Superior Propane are not eligible to participate in the Program. Please contact us with any questions regarding your community’s eligibility.
3 It is Superior Propane’s current intention to calculate annual Measured Volumes as at one year ended March 31 (each, a “Measurement Year”). For example, a Measurement Year would be from April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026. Donations in respect of a Measurement Year will be made following the end of such Measurement Year.
4 Superior Propane shall, in its discretion, select such community-based organization, group, project or other cause (for each Measurement Year), as such selection may be guided through discussions with local elected council members.
Superior Propane reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Program without notice.
