Superior expands PINK Campaign

February 2010 – As part of our commitment to improving the communities in which Superior Propane employees and customers live and work, the Atlantic Region, Alberta and BC have each decided to sponsor the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. To demonstrate our support, each region launched a new pink and white delivery truck in February 2010 – Atlantic on February 1, BC on February 8 and Alberta on February 15. A portion of the revenue generated from these deliveries will be donated back to each region’s local Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

These new pink and white trucks will be shared among all locations in their respective region. In addition to delivering propane, the pink and white trucks will also be on display at numerous events and tradeshows within the region to help raise awareness for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

Breast cancer does not just affect those women living with the disease, but it also affects their friends and families as well. The Superior Propane contributions to the foundation will help them achieve their mission of creating a future without breast cancer by funding, supporting and advocating for:

  • Relevant and innovative research,
  • Meaningful education and awareness programs,
  • Early diagnosis and effective treatment, and
  • A positive quality of life for those living with breast cancer.

Ontario launched their breast cancer awareness truck in the fall of 2009 and has so far had tremendous success with the program. We are very proud of the addition of three new PINK trucks to the Superior Propane fleet and are looking forward to the difference these trucks will make in helping breast cancer research.
